Talent Engagement Specialist
Pacific Health Group
Stellenbeschreibung
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a recruiter who believes great hiring is great matchmaking — and that the right people in the right roles can transform care for the communities we serve.
In this role, you won’t just fill seats. You’ll build the talent pipelines that make better healthcare possible, and you’ll be the reason strong clinicians choose Pacific Health Group over everywhere else they could go. This is not a desk-only role. Expect a true 50/50 split between field and desk work. If your ideal week is limited to LinkedIn searches and virtual outreach, this is not the right fit.
We are looking for someone who shows up — at workforce development centers, career fairs, community college campuses, job clubs, workforce partner events, union halls, community centers, and local organizations. Many of our strongest hires come from in-person connections, not job boards.
What This Role Looks Like (Day-to-Day Reality)
- Spend approximately 50% of your time in the field and 50% managing pipelines and coordination
- Travel across assigned regions to attend hiring events, outreach efforts, and community partnerships
- Build and maintain active candidate pipelines for priority roles
- Drive candidate engagement, assessments, and follow-up throughout the hiring process
- Manage multiple open roles simultaneously with speed, organization, and accuracy
- Utilize recruiting platforms and tools to track candidate progress in real-time
- This role requires strong time management, independence, and comfort working in fast-paced, people-facing environments
What You’ll Do
Community Outreach & Talent Engagement
- Represent Pacific Health Group at job fairs, hiring events, and community-based outreach initiatives
- Build relationships with workforce development boards, community organizations, schools, and training programs
- Engage directly with candidates in the field to generate interest and build trust
- Identify and develop grassroots recruiting strategies within the communities we serve
Pipeline Development & Sourcing
- Build and maintain strong pipelines through both in-person outreach and digital sourcing
- Source candidates through job boards, referrals, social platforms, and community networks
- Develop partnerships with colleges, technical programs, and workforce training organizations
Assessment-First Recruiting Approach
- Introduce candidates to PHG’s assessment-first hiring model
- Ensure candidates complete required assessments within 48 hours
- Review resumes alongside assessment results and prepare Value Proposition summaries highlighting key qualifications, assessment performance, role and team alignment, and overall recommendation
Candidate Experience & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process
- Coordinate interviews and ensure a seamless experience from initial outreach through scheduling
- Maintain consistent communication, ensuring candidates feel informed and respected
Pipeline & Systems Management
- Maintain accurate, real-time updates in Workable (ATS) and internal tracking systems
- Track candidate progress, outreach activity, and pipeline health metrics
- Ensure all recruiting activities align with compliance and fair hiring practices
How Success Is Measured
- Quality of candidates advanced to hiring managers
- Candidate assessment completion rates and turnaround time
- Pipeline health and role coverage
- Speed and consistency of candidate follow-up
- Effectiveness of community outreach and partnership development
- Accuracy and timeliness of system updates and tracking
Who Thrives in This Role
- Is energized by being in the field and engaging with people in person
- Is comfortable walking into new environments and starting conversations
- Can manage multiple priorities and pipelines without losing momentum
- Values quality over quantity in recruiting decisions
- Is proactive, resourceful, and highly organized
- Is passionate about connecting people to meaningful, mission-driven work
